Bookmer Eliminates Passwords

Feb 11, 2026

Bookmer is taking the next step toward a simpler, more secure, and more privacy-friendly user experience: effective immediately, Bookmer will no longer use traditional passwords. Instead, Bookmer is moving to fully passwordless authentication powered by LoginSign.

With LoginSign, users can sign in via Social Login (using widely trusted identity providers) or, for existing accounts, via email using a Magic Link flow. In the Magic Link process, users receive a one-time sign-in link by email, allowing secure access without creating, remembering, or resetting passwords. This reduces everyday friction while addressing common risks associated with password-based logins.

“Passwords create constant friction for users and remain a persistent security weakness. With LoginSign, we’re making sign-in easier while significantly improving protection against phishing, credential leaks, and password reuse,” said Bookmer. “At the same time, privacy improves because fewer sensitive authentication secrets need to be stored and managed long-term.”

By making passwordless login the default, Bookmer positions itself as an early mover in the shift away from passwords—delivering faster access, stronger security, and better privacy without compromising usability.
